I am taking a break from the vintage antiquey crafty thing!
Time just doesn't permit me to do all the things I'd like to do!
Clock from the blog called
"little bit of creativity" So for now I am concentrating on my genealogy work (including being administrator for several Y-DNA Surname Projects (Cauble, Musgrove, Ziegenfuss and Goble). And of course, working full time! I'll be updating my other blog often: Vintage Gal's Genealogy
The Polka Dot Closet? Carol is one of the most amazing and talented ladies I've come across. She can take something that most of us would throw in the trash and completely re-make it into something beautiful! I think you'll like her blog a lot! Revis
Posted at www.vintagegalegen.blogspot.com, today I am being lazy. This post is on two blogs! Hope you enjoy! -------------------------------------------- Today is not a "typical" genealogy post. But it does have to do with old stuff, and I don't know one genealogist that doesn't relish "old stuff"! I wanted to show you some beautiful, glitzy items that at one time were the pride and joy of someone's mother, grandmother or maybe even great-grandmother!
I applaud those people who take the time to find old jewelry and then re-create it into a one-of-a kind piece.
And I know several ladies that have this talent for re-creating.
